About Detroit Hibachi Co.
Welcome to Detroit Hibachi Co. Serving you "The Best Hibachi in the 313"
Detroit Hibachi Co. is one of the pan-asian restaurants listed in Detroit, Michigan. The business is registered at 1339 M-102, Detroit, MI 48203; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Detroit, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12 pmβ1 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Detroit Hibachi Co. at (313) 512-4342; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 198 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Detroit is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Michigan's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely terrible, Iβve had many different hibachi restaurants and food trucks in Detroit and I must say this was the most disappointing experience by far Let start with the rice I provide pictures for context It looks like it wasnβt even cooked in garlic butter itβs a lot of white rice in this box and it had a burnt taste to it The garlic butter mannnnn First off look how petty they are with the amount they give like be for real the garlic butter takes it over the top but not theirs it more of whipped butter then garlic butter then itβs not even a full or half cup for that matter The price was decent but Iβd have to say Iβm highly disappointed I got this for lunch for work and now imma be hungry for the next 16 hours thanks Detroit Hibachi Company

I have spent money at this restaurant before, but after what happened on March 15 around 9:45 PM, I will not be returning. I paid about $25 in cash for my order. While waiting, a bag was placed on the counter and I assumed it was mine. I grabbed it and walked out, but it turned out to be the wrong order. Instead of simply telling me it wasnβt my order, the cook ran outside after me, snatched the food out of my hands, and began threatening me. The cook (a short Black male employee) told me he would βbeat my ass,β said he didnβt care about the job, and acted like he wanted to fight me, even though this was clearly a simple misunderstanding. I went back inside to speak to the staff and explain what happened. There were only two employees working at the time β a short Asian male at the cashier and the cook. My receipt shows the server name βOmar S.β Despite explaining the situation, they refused to resolve it, and I still never received the food I paid for. To make matters worse, when I got home and checked the food that was involved, I noticed items were missing from the order as well. The noodles that are supposed to come with the meal were not included, and I have photos showin

The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, & the wait time was about 15 minutes. I ordered the Chicken hibachi meal with fried rice, salad & no mushrooms or carrots. The carrots were still there, seemed like it was just a bag of frozen peas & carrots mixture. It was a very generous amount of food for $21.19, but it wasn't that great at all. The noodles were overcooked & sticking together with a smoky flavor which was gross. There were about 4 slices of chicken which weren't enough for the amount of noodles included. I couldn't enjoy the rice because I had to keep picking out those little nasty squares of carrots. It's a no for me but good luck with your business.

Detroit Hibachi Co is not just good, it's AMAZING! From the moment you walk in, you're treated to a top-notch hibachi experience. The chefs are incredibly skilled and put on a fantastic show, but the real star is the food. The portions are unbelievably generous β you definitely get your money's worth and might even have leftovers! Every dish is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. If you go, definitely ask for Sam; he's one of the best chefs there and will make your meal unforgettable. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this place!
